Senior Charlotte Anderson and sophomore Olivia Helal showed off the team’s depth by placing 11th and 12th.

In the JV Boys race the team was led by sophomore Owen Barr and senior Jack Dillaplain who were both in the top 30 of the field. As a team the boys were 4th out of 15 team.

The next 3 girls packed it in to keep the top 4 in a tight 20 second spread with senior Cameron Long (36th), juniors Bowman Shaughnessy (43rd) and Ripley Vaughan (44th). As a team the girls team was 6th out of 20 teams.

Senior captain Benajmin Weisel led the way for the boys team with his gutsy 17th place finish. Sophomore Ethan Payne ran outstanding race, closing well in the final mile to place 27th and senior Will Makinen toughed it out in rough conditions to cross the line in 62nd. Thank you to our parent chaperones on this trip Rita Foss and Sue O’Boyle. Also, thank you to Caroline Tringali for assisting with dinner pickup and taking great photos during the meet! It was great to have a strong cheer squad for WPXC, thanks to the parents who came out and we were very excited to have Wolverine alumni supporting the team!
